Over Muscle Breast Augmentation Surgery

Contact Dr. William Jacobsen today to learn about the various techniques available for breast augmentation.

Over Muscle Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation can be done with two techniques – either under the breast muscle or under the breast tissue itself. Augmentations that take place under the breast tissue are less evasive and require less recovery time. So much so that it can be done under local anesthesia or sedation. For most candidates over the breast muscle augmentation is not suitable, as the muscle acts as a cushion in most patients wishing to increase the size of their breasts. Forming a more natural appearance. The exception to this rule is if a woman already has a relatively full breast. Wishing to be slightly fuller.

Under Muscle Implants1

Adding a breast implant over the muscle in this case can give a nice projection and add additional fullness. Without the complications that come from going underneath the muscle.

I had a great experience during my consultation with Dr. J and his staff. They made me feel super comfortable as soon as I walked in even though I was a nervous wreck. Everyone was so sweet, nice and very knowledgeable. What I wanted done Dr. J surprised me with his answer. Which is why I will be scheduling an appointment for a breast augmentation soon with him. Also, I hate talking on the phone so I am able to contact them by text or email with any questions or concerns I have, and with my busy schedule it works out for both parties. I will have to edit this review with the results of my procedure and recovery process. As for a consultation experience, I have no complaints.
